Founder and CEO

Katherine Kitty Smyth is Founder and CEO of investment firm Jingpinou. 

Jingpinou works with Chinese banks, Western hedge funds, prominent private entrepreneurs, government departments and media organisations. 

Before founding Jingpinou, Kitty built a business trading meat, seafood and wine from Europe to China. She has served as an Expert Advisor to the European Commission on the global promotion of Agri-products.

Kitty's career has spanned television, government communications and business. She is a former BBC Producer with TV Current Affairs and a former Senior Communication Strategist in Whitehall. 

Kitty received her undergraduate degree in Politics and French from University College Dublin (UCD) and her MA in Political Communication from City St George's, University of London. She speaks French, Spanish and Mandarin.
